Paul Cadman on Bluenose Day at Knighthead Park, where Birmingham City FC fans backed the Foundation and FareShare Midlands.
Yesterday at Knighthead Park was a reminder of what makes Birmingham City FC fans so special.
Although the result on the pitch wasn’t what we hoped for, the generosity shown in support of Bluenose Day was nothing short of incredible. Walking around, meeting fans, and supporting the Birmingham City FC Foundation team, I was privileged to catch up with so many supporters—some with multiple generations together, which is always heartwarming and a true reflection of the club’s spirit.

A Bluenose Day partnership that makes a difference
I also want to reflect on the powerful partnership between FareShare Midlands, Birmingham City, and the Foundation. A highlight of the day was meeting Simone Connolly (CEO) and Kara Glover (Head of Fundraising)—leaders of a truly amazing charity making a difference in people’s lives every single day.
It was a brilliant day, and as always, I feel privileged to be involved and to support.
Thank you to everyone who stepped up yesterday—fans, volunteers, and my Foundation colleagues. Your commitment and generosity continue to inspire.
